All School Meeting 1/18/17@ 6:00 Blue Tang Room!
We have only three meetings each school year, to learn about the progress of our school, and tomorrow’s meeting is especially important because we will be electing parent members to our volunteer charter board of directors! The meeting will be brief, and we’re prepared with sound system and cool a/c! We do not have child care secured for this event, however, so families who do not have child care options will want to pack a doodle pad or good book to keep students engaged during the meeting.

Great Gala This Friday!
The Bal Masque will take place from 6:00 – 11:00 at the Key West Theater (Eaton Street) this Friday, 20 January 2017. Tickets are $50/person which includes a welcome drink and plenty of delicious food from Chef Layla Barr! Cash bar…Casino tables…Raffle…Silent & Live auction, (generous donation from local business goods AND art from our very own May Sands students). Raffle Ticket Sales Conclude Friday!
Each student is responsible for selling at least ten raffle tickets at a suggested $10 donation per ticket. Three raffle tickets will be drawn on the night of the event and three winners will receive one of the following prizes:
- Florida Keys Stay-cation Package (valued @ $1,000)
- Dine Around Key West Package (valued @ $750)
- Luxury Spa Package (valued @ $500)
Students who opt to sell more than their share will be given an extra service hour credit per ten (10) sold.
National School Choice Week
Next week our school will celebrate the fact that we have a choice in education! National School Choice week takes place January 23-27, and it’s a time to recognize the alternative education choices families have – we’re happy you chose May Sands Montessori School! Join us @ 8:30 next Friday (27 January) for a very special flag raising ceremony, where our whole school will perform for you!
