PR Committee Meeting
Join the PR Committee for a meeting tomorrow at 12 noon in the Art Room, or contact Kristen at [email protected]. We are seeking support from Families who have a talent for graphic design and photography, and who are able to design ads and flyers.
Spell-a-Thon: Study & Pledge Time
Elementary and Secondary students have a few more days to study their words and shapes; assessment day is this Friday, 30 September. At this time, all students should begin collecting pledges of support from friends, neighbors and relatives (nearby and out of town). Pledges can be based on how many words spelled correctly, or a flat amount for the whole test.
Family Dine-Out
Our school Family is hosting a fundraiser dinner at Mangia Mangia Pasta Café this Friday! Restaurateurs Mike & Heather Barnes are offering a donation to KWMCS on all food, beverage and gift certificate sales for the evening. Dinner is served from 5:30 — 9:00. No time to dine? Call in your order and pick it up on your way home; Mangia is offering the same awesome donation to KWMCS on takeout orders! Mangia Mangia is located at 900 Southard Street.
One Human Race and Colorful Run
Our race takes place this Saturday! We still need 12oz. bottles of water, and a few more gallon jugs of water. Our Race Event Committee will be collecting donations at arrival time until Friday, and Ms. Tonia is happy to receive your donation as well. Monster Mash School Family Event
Our next opportunity to gather as a school family will take place from 6-8 on 20 October! Students and their parents are invited to dress in costume and get set to dance at our 6th annual Monster Mash! Our very own Super Coopers will be spinning tunes to keep the party fun and fresh! The PR Committee will meet tomorrow at noon to develop the Hospitality plan for this event; traditionally we have a potluck dinner for our school family events. More information will be shared in next week’s post – stay tuned!
