Volunteers Needed: KW Triathlon

We still need 10 more volunteers from 6-12 for this Saturday’s TriKW.   Double Service Hours awarded to volunteers!

Please come out and support this awesome community athletic event and help raise funds for our school.

Volunteers will be on Higgs Beach pier helping make sure swimmers go under the right place, and directing traffic from the swim course to the transition area.

After the last swimmer goes in the water, six of our volunteers will move to different locations on the run course (Atlantic Blvd. & Smathers Beach).

Atlantic will be completely closed, so the best way to travel to the race spot is by biking or parking along any of the side streets near Atlantic.

Artists’ Reception: Tropic Cinema KW

The May Sands Montessori students from the Blue Tangs’ Early Secondary (Middle School) classroom created wreaths in the spirit of the holiday season.  Under the direction of Ms. Jenni Franke and Ms. Shannon Parks, the students have shown their individuality and personality in each wreath.  The wreath is a symbol of the circle of life and growth which coincides with the Montessori philosophy that all life is connected and an equally important part of the universe.

Join us for a reception to view the artists’ work: Monday, December 5 from 5:30 – 6:30pm 416 Eaton Street
