One Human Race and Colorful Run=Success!

Five Guys & Two Scoops Family Dine Out
Thanks to our friends at Five Guys and Two Scoops, the first Wednesday of each month will be a fundraising opportunity for our school! Encourage your friends, extended family, and teammates to join us at the Five Guys location in the Winn-Dixie Shopping Plaza (2814 N Roosevelt Blvd ) from 5:30-8:30. Our friends at Five Guys will donate a portion of the night’s sales back to our school!
School Family Meeting
This is a friendly reminder that we will hold a school family meeting this Thursday to discuss our current lease negotiations as they relate to our facility plan. The Charter Board invites all families to attend this informative hour-long meeting. We will convene at 6:00 in the Blue Tang classroom. At this time we do not have child care availability.
Spell-a-Thon/Shape-a-Thon: Sponsor Collection Time
Now that the students have completed their assessments, it’s time to start collecting pledged donations. If you utilized the online campaign through Flipcause, collection is easy – just redirect sponsors to your student’s page. Otherwise, please work toward completing the collection of pledged donations by this Friday, 7 October. Our Spell/Shape-a-Thon in-school celebration and award ceremony takes place Friday, 14 October.
Box Tops for Education
You can help earn funds for our school by clipping Box Tops labels and sending your family’s collection in to school. Our first collection date is quickly approaching, so if you haven’t yet done so, please turn your collection in by 14 October. SoMo Marathon Volunteers Needed

SoMo 5K/10K Volunteers Needed
We are also looking for 6+ volunteers to support the Southern Most Marathon 5k/10k on Sunday October 9th. Volunteers will meet at the Salute parking lot at 7am on Sunday, directions for volunteers will be given at that time. Monster Mash School Family Event
Students and their parents are invited to dress in costume and get set to dance at our 6th annual Monster Mash, which takes place from 6-8 on 20 October!!
