All-School Meeting Tomorrow!
Our last All-School meeting of the 2017 school year takes place tomorrow evening @ 6:00 in the Blue Tang classroom. As a reminder, families must attend two of the three All-School meetings in a school year to maintain compliance with the Contract of Commitment; families who have attended only one meeting are required to attend tomorrow’s meeting. Those families who attend all three meetings will earn an extra service hour point!

Lottery this Friday
The lottery to determine enrollment for the 2018 school year takes place @ 4:15 this Friday in the Blue Tang classroom. As a reminder, families of currently enrolled students who have not fulfilled the three components of the Contract of Commitment (service hours, parent meetings, all-school meetings) will have their child’s name placed in the lottery.
Books & Books Community Day & Book Fair
This Saturday our local (awesome) bookstore will host a Community Book Fair to benefit May Sands Montessori School! The advertisement below will run Thursday & Friday and our school will reap a percentage for every clipped ad that accompanies a sale! Share the attached coupons with your friends, and let your neighbors know about the advertisement in the paper this week – we’re hoping to have a super-successful in-store book fair! Our in-school Books & Books fair dates are May 15th through the 26th and titles from teacher summer reading lists will be available for purchase. We also have a couple of incentives to share with our community, thanks to our helpful students, see below!

Save a Life + Support our School
Our school will host its last blood drive of the school year from 10-4 on 25 May. All donors will receive a free movie ticket and a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening. In addition, our school community donors will receive two service hours! Our school benefits from blood drives; OneBlood provides May Sands Montessori School with a $10 donation per donor, so please consider donating. Clubs Sunset Until August
This week is the end of Running Club and Ukulele Club for the school year; we look forward to starting the 2018 school year off with these (and more) fun clubs!
