Upper Elementary Lead Guide

May Sands Montessori School is currently seeking a Lead Guide for our Upper Elementary Program (ages 9–12, grades 4–6).

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who believes in fostering curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our ideal candidate will bring both professional expertise and a deep respect for the Montessori philosophy to our vibrant community of learners.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate (or another state’s equivalent)

OR

Hold a Montessori I & II Credential (Elementary I and II), with the ability to obtain the other within the first two years of employment

Additional Qualities We Value:

A genuine passion for guiding children through hands-on, authentic learning experiences

Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team-based environment

Commitment to maintaining a nurturing and respectful classroom culture aligned with our R.O.S.E. values (Respect for Others, Self, and the Environment)
