Thanks to the American Rescue Plan, Child Tax Credit payments of $300/month for children up to age five and $250 for children between six and 17 will begin in July. The total payment allowed under the Child Tax Credit is $3,600 for children 0 to 5 and $3,000 for children 6 to 17.
